When choosing a threshold ramp for a door situated in the corner of a room, give an extra thought to accessibility.
If a ramp without corners is chosen, then traversal of the ramp will always require the user to take a head-on approach. This can be a problem, especially if the doorway is to or from a room with limited space or many furnishings. This type of ramp will usually always force the user or helper to 'take a detour' e.g. around a table in the room, to be able to approach the ramp from the head-on direction. This type of solution is far from convenient.
